感謝祭 Thanksgiving

私にとっては３回目の感謝祭

でも過去２回は宣教師時代で

人に作ってもらったものを

嬉しげにたいらげただけでした

が

今回は初めて全て自分手作り

がんばりました

It was my 3rd Thanksgiving

but the last two that I had were

when I was a missionary

means

I just went to someone's home

and ate the great dinner for them

BUT

this time, I cooked the whole things

all by myself

It was a lot of work..

イアンのお父さんが来てくれました

Ian's dad came and visited us
午後は教会員の人に誘われて
遊覧飛行に
この方、去年まで大阪ｰデンバー間の
旅客機パイロットだったらしい
自家用機まで持っている
In the afternoon,
a nice church member here invited us
for an airplane ride!
He used to work as a pilot
He owns a small air plane


イアンは副操縦士に！
（ちなみに少し操縦させてもらっていました
恐ろしかった・・笑）
Ian became a co-pilot!
(btw, he got to controll a little bit
it scared me to death..haha)

土曜は
エステス公園とロッキー山脈国立公園
へ行ってきました
On Saturday,
We drove to The Estes Park
and The RockyMountainNationalPark

さすが国立公園
野生のエルクを発見
We got to see the wild elks
in the national park

認識 Recognizing

最近色んな人の違いetcを

認識できるようになったっぽい

ということで

東京で伝道しているために

あまりお目にかかれていない

アレックおじさんについて説明してみました

結構興味深々

It seems like he started

being able to recognizing a lot of different types of people

So,

I started explaining some of the people that

he hasn't been able to see lately

by using some picutures.

This time, I used his uncle, Alec

who is serving the mission in Tokyo.

He was really interested.

始めました

子供の未来がかかっているなら

I was inspired by a friend of mine recently

to switch it to the cloth diapers.

So, we've been giving it a try.

50 million disposable diapers

enter the landfill every day,

where they sit for up to 500 years.

I can do so much to be an earth friendly person

but as a mom,

I think this is a big thing I can do

for my baby's future!
