サンタ Santa

地元ボルダーで知る人ぞ知る、メイシーズのサンタさん
１５年もずっとサンタしてるらしい　もう９６歳とか？
ショーンは自分から感動して駆け寄って行ったくせに
膝に乗せられると・・

We heard from our friend who was born and raised in Boulder
that Macy's here is the place we should take our kids to have picture taking with Santa

The Santa is 96years old and he's been doing this for over 15yrs!!
He looked so real that Sean was so excited and ran up to him
but once we put him on his lap...

散髪 Haircut

ハロウィーンで桃太郎になるため
ずっとのばしてきた髪
産まれて初めて散髪しました
お父さんが切ったのですが
結構上手

成長した我が子の姿に
母の胸熱くなる・・笑

We let Sean's hair grow for a long time
just so that he could be a little samurai for Halloween
He hadn't had any haircut up until Halloween night
Ian was the stylist

It was almost a heartbreaking moment for me
as a mother to see my own son looking like a big boy..

風呂 Bath

私の母が考案した
バケツdeベビーバス★
市販のベビーバスを貰って試してみたものの
やはりこれが一番！
首を支えなくていいのもラク
さすがは母
My mom got this inspiration
to use a bucket as a baby bath
I tried using a baby bath that you can get at store
but
this is the best so far!
The baby can sit all by himself
that's another great thing about this
My mom is so creative!

Aunt Miyo sent them some matching clothes
So they wore them today for the church
She got a great taste on clothing!!

ハローウィン Halloween

This is the head of our family母はなんちゃって芸者
Mom is a wanna be Geisha

そして長男　桃太郎
と　二男はお供したサル
Sean is "Momotaro(Peach Boy)"
and Kyle is the servant monkey who came
to fight for Momotaro.

誕生日 Birthday

10月29日はショーンの誕生日
やっと2歳になりました
ハローウィンが近いので誕生会兼ハローウィンパーティー
お母さん手作りで色々がんばりました
部屋のバンナー、食事、袴etc
活動として大人はパンプキン彫り、子供はミカンにお絵かき
本人より私たち大人が楽しみ？ました
Sean's Birthday is Oct. 29th
He turned in two this year
Since his birthday is so close to Halloween,
we decided to throw a birthday/halloween party
I, mother, handmade the banner, food, the costume etc.
For the activities, we got some pumpkins to curve
and some clementines to decorate
I think more than Sean, us, the adults had a lot of fun!haha

神々の庭 The Garden of the Gods

週末に、朝早くから車で２時間
コロラドスプリングスにある「神々の庭」
へ行ってきました
On the weekend, we woke up early
drove for 2hours to visit
"The Garden of the Gods" in Colorado Springs

トーマス Thomas

トーマスが何なのかまだ知らない子を連れて・・
トーマスに乗りに行ってきました
しかし
トーマスの写真があまりない

We went to ride on Thomas with our neighbors
But the kids didn't even know what "Thomas" was...haha
And
We don't really have pictures of Thomas..

仁君 Kyle

こういうハチャメチャな兄を持つ彼
He has a crazy brother

そうです

Yes,
this is he, his brother
その傍らで
いつも彼は
Next to him,
He is always

寝ています
sleeping

たまに泣いてみます
crying sometimes

兄の大声が聞こえる時でも
When he hears his brother screaming

何もなかったフリをします
He pretends like it was nothing

そしてまた寝ます
And again, he goes back to sleep!

プール Pool

イアンの夏休み最後の日
家族で屋外プールへ行きました
We went to an outside pool
as a family on the last day of Ian's summer break

しかし
いまいちやる気ない人が・・
but
there he was..
not really enthusiastic about this..

少し情けない

Kind of a sad looking back..

でもいつものように
時間がたつと
色々見えてきた様子
楽しみました
As always,
after a while of staring at other kids,
he started having fun
We ended up having a lot of fun
