プール Pool

イアンの夏休み最後の日
家族で屋外プールへ行きました
We went to an outside pool
as a family on the last day of Ian's summer break

しかし
いまいちやる気ない人が・・
but
there he was..
not really enthusiastic about this..

少し情けない
後ろ姿・・
Kind of a sad looking back..

でもいつものように
時間がたつと
色々見えてきた様子
楽しみました
As always,
after a while of staring at other kids,
he started having fun
We ended up having a lot of fun

二人乗り Double Stroller

二人目が産まれるということで
近所の親切な友達から
色々な物を頂いた/借りたりして
生き延びてきた我家でしたが
どうしても必要になってきたのが
二人乗りストローラー
Since we are having the second child
our nice neighbor friends have been giving/rending us
their baby stuffs
So that has been really helpful for us
but
there was one last thing that I needed..
"double stroller"

これも借りてるベビーカーシート
ですが重いので
ちょろちょろする上の子と共に運ぶのは一仕事
This is the car seat that we borrowed from our neighbor
but it is pretty heavy
and to carry this and the other child who runs around everywhere
it started seem impossible

ということで
ゲットしましたこのストローラー
二人が大きくなったら二人とも座れます
中古だけど新品同様
定価２万が４千円なり！
気に入ってます☆
Therefore,
I got this used stroller
for $40(originally$200!)!!
It looks pretty new
and the great thing about this
is that when they grow up
they both could still sit together
I love it!

祭り Children's Festival

今日はここコロラド大学ファミリーハウジングで
子供たちのための祭りがありました
私は管理人の仕事をしているのでスタッフとして働きました
ショーンも楽しんだようです
We had "Children's Festival"
here in CU Family Housing
I worked as a staff
while my mom watched Sean
It seemed like Sean had fun, too!

田中祖父母 Tanaka Grandparents

イアンがミネソタへ出稼ぎに行っている間
私とショーンを助けに、私の両親が日本から来てくれました
父は１週間しか滞在できませんでしたが、母は２ヶ月の滞在
色々楽しませてもらっています
Ian has gone for a summer job in Minnesota
While he is gone, my parents came to help me and Sean out
My father could only stay here for a week but my mother will be here for 2month!
We've been having a lot of fun
They brought a special gift for Sean

Yes, I who is 8month pregnant went with them:)

夏 Summer

最近３０℃を超える日が続いています
暑い・・
でも乾燥している分
クーラーなんて要りません
日本の夏とは大違いです
手作りスムージーさえあれば
この暑さはしのげます！
Lately, we've been having some hot days
but it's a dry heat
so we don't really need an AC
It's such a difference from the summer in Japan
We just need a cup full of homemade smoothie
and that's all we need to cool off!

我が家の小さなパティオ
ハーブや花を植えて楽しんでいます
Our small patio
we planted some flowers and herbs
and are enjoying our "gardening"

祖父と叔父 Grandpa and Uncle

イアンのお父さんと
先日伝道から帰還したばっかりのイアンの弟アレックが
１１時間かけてユタから車で来てくれました
３日間だけの短い間だったけど
楽しかったです
特にアレックも日本語がぺらぺらになっていたのには
驚いたプラス嬉しかったです
Ian's dad and his brother who just returned from the mission
drove all the way from Utah to visit us
It took 11hrs.. Thank you, papa and Alec for all the efforts!
They were here for only 3days but we had a lot of fun
It was surprising for me to see Alec speaking Japanese fluently
but more than that,
I was so happy to be able to communicate in my native language with him

ビーチ Beach

ハワイに住んでいた私たちは
海のないコロラドに来て以来
ビーチが恋しくて仕方ありません
ということで
ビーチを探して
見つけました！
その名もビックソーダレイク
そうです
湖です・・
After living in Hawaii, then moving to Colorado
where there is no ocean,
we've missed visiting the beach very much.
So, we looked around,
and actually found one!
It's called "Big Soda Lake".
