So, she asked us to have a romantic one, too.
And this is the most romantic you can get from us! haha

魔法 Trick

我が家の子供たちが
静かにじーっとできる時間
そんなこと今までなかった
けれど最近、魔法にかかっています
これです。これ。
トトロ
テレビはあまり見せたくないけど
仕方ないときはこれです
なく子も黙る？トトロです
I was hoping that the day will come when my
boys could sit and stay still
And the day came!!
The trick is..
A Japanese famous movie
called "Our Neighbor Totoro"
I don't want to show TV to them too much
but when I need to restore my sanity,
then this is it!

自然 Nature

We had a heavy snow storm in October and because the snow was so heavy that a lot of trees' branches couldn't hold it and broke off and fell down. Since that happened, the trees here seems like they are having a hard time keep up just standing there.
Yesterday, we had a wind storm and look at this tree! Poor thing.. It makes me feel sad.
Ian and I were talking the other day how the natures here don't communicate well!

学校 Preschool

３歳になったので幼稚園に行き始めました
最初の一週間は連れて行く度に泣いていた彼
でも二週間目は平気でした
今のところ、あるもの無しでは学校に行けない彼
でもそのあるものを着けるとかなり怪しいというか独特なのだ
まあ本人が落ち着くのならいいことにするか
ということで彼
こんな格好で登下校しております

Since he turned in Three, he started attending a preschool
Yes, he became "a preschooler"
He would cry every time I dropped him off at school for the first week
But for the 2nd week, he seems like he's gotten used to it and actually liking it
I know some kids have things called "security blankets"
But he is so unique enough that he has this thing called "security hat"
which makes him look totally ridiculous/unique:)

ハローウィン Halloween2011

今年もがんばりました
パーティーでグループ衣装賞をいただき☆
ピノキオ一家です
ちなみに私は青い妖精（あのピノキオの鼻を長くする人）
質問が多かったので・・恥

We did this year again and got a prize called "the best group costume"
at a party!
We are the Pinocchio Family.
Btw, I was the blue fairy who changed Piocchio's nose long.(remmeber? A couple of people asked me who I was! Yes, I look weird with blond hair. I know!!haha)

ショーン誕生日 Sean's Birthday

３歳になりました！
今年はピノキオ
でも今一番大好きなのはスヌーピー
ということでカップケーキの上はスヌーピー
He turned in THREE!
He is a Pinocchio this year.
But, what he is really into now is "Snoopy"
So, we put his favorite guy on top of his cupcake:)

食事もまた去年に引き続き凝りました。w
Of course, we made some crazy Halloween appetizers
like we did last year

It turned out to be such a big party for our little Seannie.

家の装飾 Home Deco

秋になりました
家のデコレーションにハマる時期です
予算内でいろいろ工夫するのが楽しい
The fall came
It's the season that makes me get excited decorating our home
I really enjoy it especially when I have to be creative
by making things withing our tight budget:)

誕生日 Birthday

彼の誕生日
一歳になりました！
Yes, it's this little guy's 1st birthday!

色んな事をして喜んでもらいました
There were many things that made him happy

大好きなお友達と遊び・・
He got to play with his friends..

近所の人に可愛がってもらい
neighbors doted on him

お父さんのお手製ビーフシチューに..
Daddy's special Tuscan Beef Stew for dinner and..

Mom's home made birthday cake

もちろん潰しても怒られず
Of course he did crush it but no need for guilt

嬉しい一日だったようです☆
He was happy after all:)

ジョージタウン Georgetown

明日は仁君のお誕生日
ということで前日祝い？にここから車で1時間
ジョージタウンという古い町へ行ってきました
最初から上機嫌だった彼
Tomorrow is Kyle's birthday
So we decided to celebrate it a day before
We visited "Georgetown" which is located 1hr away from where we live
He was happy from the beginning

到着！まだ嬉しい
Arrived! Still happy:)

これクライマックス
This was our climax for the day

仁さんよりこの方の方が興味深々
More than Kyle, someone else was really into it

子供が寝ている間に・・
While the monsters were asleep..

アイスクリーム★
ココナッツとピーナッツのアイス　絶妙な味でした
We got some ice cream
Mine was fabulous! Coconut & Peanuts ice cream

夕飯は珍しく外食
これまた嬉しかったらしい
We even went out for dinner, which is pretty rare
He was happy there, too

And they CRASHED!!!!

Moments That Matter Most

毎週月曜の夜の我家の伝統「家庭の夕べ」
うちの教会で勧められている時間です
そこで先日イアンが分かち合ってくれた
「強さは、強固とした真実と光の土台から
また神聖で一番価値のあるものに注目することから得られる。」
というこのレッスンが最近私の支えになっています
忙しい日々の中、このメッセージで目を覚まされた気がしました

"Strength comes from being settle on a firm foundation of truth and light it comes from paying attention to a divine things that matter most"
Ian shared this in our family home evening the other night and touched my heart.
I think I needed this to make me realize what really is matter most in my life with many things to worry about.

Biker チャリっ子

ショーンのお友達たちは
最近このバランスバイク（ペダル無し自転車）
をかってもらって暴走族のように駆け回っている
それを見たショーンはマイバイクが欲しくなった
ということで
４月に半年早い誕生日プレゼントとして
おばあちゃんに買ってもらった
そして２ヶ月後の今は・・

Sean's buddies here have
this bike called "balance bike"
which teaches them how to balance
before they get on a real bike
Of course Sean wanted it, too
So he got it from his Nonna as a half a year early
birthday gift in April
It's been two months since he got this and watch!
